Annual Food Drive to Benefit Holliston Pantry

Continuing its rich tradition of giving back to the community, the Dancing Arts Academy will be holding its annual food drive for the Holiston Food Pantry from January 28 to February 12. During this time, DAC is asking studetns, families, friends, and neighbors to drop off items such as canned foods high in protein, baby supplies, dry goods, and other sundries in its lobby collection bin.

Students from the Dancing Arts Academy’s Community Service Committee will then deliver the goods to the Holliston Food Pantry. DAA Director Karyn Edison says philanthropy and supporting those in need is an essential part to the Academy’s teachings.

“We thrive when the communities around us thrive,” Edison says.  “The economy of the past few years has been hard on all of us. Families, small businesses, and especially those less fortunate have struggled.  So, it is important that we help when we can. This is what being part of a community, and DAA, is all about.”

About the Dancing Arts Center:

The Dancing Arts Center, located in Holliston, Massachusetts, provides instruction in
