Need An Actiivity for the Little Ones?

LazerZone, a family entertainment company with locations in Randolph and Marlboro, Mass., will sponsor a back-to school drawing contest during the month of August 2010. The theme of the contest is “Jonny Marz goes back to school.” Jonny is one of LazerZone’s very own hip and fun-loving alien characters, who is known as “one of the top laser tag players in the universe.” 

 

Any elementary-school age child may enter their own original artwork in (parents or other adults should not help), depicting their unique version of Jonny Marz heading to school. The artwork should be created in full color on white, 8 ½” x 11” paper, using any medium—such as crayons, markers, watercolor or acrylic paint, and/or colored pencils. On the back of the artwork, the artist should include his/her name, address, phone number and parent(s) names, as well as the name and address of his/her school and hometown newspaper.

 

Entries may be delivered or sent to one of the two LazerZone locations: 330 N. Main Street, Randolph, MA 02368 or 416 Boston Post Rd, Marlborough, MA 01752. If mailing, artwork should not be folded. Children may also come to LazerZone to create their entry.

 

Entries will be accepted no later than August 31 after which they will be displayed and judged at each location and one winner chosen in the following age groups, 7 and under, 8-11 and 12-14, for a total of six winners overall. Each winner will receive a $25 gift certificate to LazerZone.
