The 13^th Annual Holliston PTSA Auction is just around the corner on Saturday, May 5 at 6:30 pm at the Glen Ellen Country Club in Millis. Reservations for the event are now being accepted by calling Kristen Ward at (508) 429-8294 or downloading a reservation form at www.Hollistonptsa.org. The cost of attending the auction is $40.00 per person. The dress is casual or dress according to the Cinco de Mayo theme. Tables for 8-10 people are available. The deadline for reservations is April 27, 2007.

This year’s theme, “A Cinco de Mayo” will feature a silent and live auction, raffle of the Classroom Baskets, announcement of the raffle trip winner to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico, a delicious buffet dinner, dancing and a DJ, and live Latin entertainment. Over the past two years, the PTSA has raised more than $110,000 to support important PTSA programs such as Culture Connection, curriculum enhancements for pre-K-12^th grade students, graduating senior scholarships, teacher grants and training programs, and parent education programs.

Some of the exciting live auction items this year include Red Sox vs. Yankees tickets, an 8x10 photograph signed by Tom Brady and Peyton Manning, tickets to see the videotaping of the acclaimed cooking show, “Simply Ming” and dinner at Blue Ginger, a one-week vacation on Martha’s Vineyard, a Wine Tasting package, a private fishing trip aboard The TRITON off Cape Cod, tickets to a Jimmy Buffet Concert, and an unforgettable 90 minute dance lesson for 8-10 people, followed by dinner. The silent auction will feature hundreds of exciting items including special dinners, tickets to concerts and plays, gift certificates to stores and restaurants, tuition to camps & classes, home, garden, health and beauty items, electronics, jewelry & handcrafted items, autographed books, parties, and items for children.
