Friday, August 13

2:11 pm: Ladder 1 responded mutual aid to Milford for a two-alarm structure fire on Purchase Street.

2:13 pm: Deputy Chief Jim Moore investigated a carbon monoxide detector activation in a Jerrold Street home.

6:34 pm: The ambulance and paramedics from Events EMS responded to a medical on Central Street. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.

Saturday, August 14

9:17 am: Weekend Duty Officer Deputy Jim Moore and Forest Fire 1 extinguished a small outside fire on Old Cart Path.

 

Sunday, August 15

11:43 am: The ambulance and paramedics from Events EMS responded to a medical on Washington Street. A Framingham resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.

2:14 pm: The ambulance and paramedics from Events EMS responded to a medical on Winthrop Street.  A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.

 

Monday, August 16

8:51 am: The ambulance and paramedics from Events EMS responded to a motor vehicle crash on Norfolk Street.  Based on the patient’s injuries, a helicopter was requested to transport her to a trauma center.  Chief Michael Cassidy and Engine 2 secured the landing zone at Stoddard Park.  En route to the landing zone, MedFlight aborted the mission due to weather.  The Hopkinton resident was then transported by ground to UMass Memorial Medical Center, University Campus in Worcester.

1:15 pm: The ambulance and paramedics from Events EMS responded to a medical on Elm Street.  A resident was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center.

 

Tuesday, August 17

1:26 am: The ambulance and paramedics from Events EMS responded to a medical on Hollis Street. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.

4:30 am: The ambulance and paramedics from Events EMS responded to a medical on Wedgewood Drive. A resident was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center.

8:43 am: The fire department responded to a direct alarm at a Woodland Street industrial building. A faulty detector was the cause of the alarm.

11:49 am: The ambulance responded mutual aid to Medway. A resident was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center.

3:10 pm: The ambulance and paramedics from Events EMS responded to a medical on Carl Road. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.

10:35 pm: Chief Michael Cassidy responded to Goulding Street for an assistance call.

 

Wednesday, August 18

12:30 pm: The ambulance responded to a medical on Kathryn Lane.  A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.

5:05 pm: Chief Michael Cassidy, Deputy Jim Moore, Ladder 1 and Engines 2 and 3 responded to a fire alarm activation for a Jeffrey Avenue industrial building.  The alarm was accidental by an alarm technician.

 

Thursday, August 19

2:28 am: The ambulance and paramedics from Ashland Fire Department responded to a medical on Dalton Road. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.

7:30 am: Chief Michael Cassidy and Engine 4 extinguished an outside fire in the woods off David Street.

9:08 am: Chief Michael Cassidy and the DEP investigated a report of smoke in the area of Washington and Whitney Streets.  The source of the smoke was traced to illegal burning on Whitney Street behind a commercial building.  The workers were advised of the opening burning regulations, and advised to extinguish the fire.

12:01 pm: The ambulance responded to a medical on Linden Street.  A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.

6:21 pm: The ambulance responded to a sports injury on Hollis Street. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.

8:40 pm: The ambulance responded to a medical on Gorwin Drive. A resident was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center.
