Vandalism Report Filed by Candidate Marty LambOn Monday, August 16, Marty Lamb, Republican candidate for Congress in Massachusetts Third District, filed a police report about vandalism that took place late Sunday night at his home in Holliston. Vandals threw chairs and other debris on to the Lamb's front lawn, stole their campaign signs, removed bumper stickers off their cars and placed an opponent's yard sign on their lawn. "I am concerned that as the campaign continues to escalate that there might be worse problems. I filed a police report to discourage any further vandalism or pranks that might jeopardize the safety of my wife and two daughters," said Lamb. "It is one thing to have a political disagreement, but going to a candidate's home is just plain wrong. It is my hope now that the police have been notified someone will think twice before acting so foolishly." Mr. Lamb graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University in 1985 and received his Bachelor of Arts from Hampshire College in 1982. He has an extensive background in real estate law, formerly with Adelson, Golden & Loria, P.C., Edward A. Sokoloff & Associates, and Lamb & Shaffer, P.C. and is currently with Lamb and Browne, P.C. He is a member of the Real Estate Bar Association of Massachusetts. An active participant in community affairs, Mr. Lamb sits on the Board of Directors of New England Region of United Synagogue and is a past president of Temple Beth Torah in Holliston. He has also served on the Holliston Elementary School Council and the Campaign for Holliston Schools. He resides in Holliston with his wife of 20 years Peri and his two teenage daughters Elissa and Simma.
