Wine House Happenings

by Rochelle Wagner

Hello Wine Enthusiasts!

Our 2 tastings last weekend were fabulous (thanks to you of course)!  The Cantina Zaccagnini Rose (not the flower) of Montelpulciano was flying out of the house! Good thing I just got more in!  Speaking of roses, check out "Rochelle's Roses" and ask me to tell you about them (only if you have more than a minute though. . . I tend to ramble).  I have turned many of you onto roses, but there are more of you out there. It's my mission this summer!!

This week, we celebrated our 7 month anniversary! People are finding out about us every day - thanks for spreading the word! Word of mouth is our best (and most cost-effective) way of advertising!  Lots of gift cards have been chosen for teacher's and coach's (and Father's Day) gifts! Thank you for thinking of us!

Closing Thoughts

Because I turned right out of my driveway instead of left, I ended up taking the "scenic route" to get back in the right direction. I had my route all planned so I would be efficient in the errands I needed to run before getting to The Wine House.  As most of us can relate to, we always have so much on our minds, with our "to do" lists growing by the minute.  Well, to my pleasant surprise, due to my accidental detour, I got to see one of my favorite sights!!  There were about 100 sheep grazing & relaxing in a field on the side of Middlesex Street (near Ridge Street in Millis). I pulled over and took a few minutes to look at them (and told them how cute they were out my window of course).  I haven't seen them since last fall, and all because of a wrong turn, I got to see them and get my day off to a great start. I was smiling all the way until my next stop and realized that sometimes we need to take a minute to enjoy the small pleasures in life.  I hope all of you find one today and remember it when you need a lift! I'm smiling just thinking about it!

Have a great week and hope to see you soon!
Cheers!
Rochelle
