Just to let you know. . . in July & August we will be closing at 7pm on Saturdays (instead of 8pm). It's our little way each week of "taking a vacation."
PAIRING WINE & FOOD WINE CLASS
You still have time to sign up for our one and only wine class being offered
this month. . . Pairing Wine & Food (Summer Style) with yours truly and my pal and foodie Beth Cook. Treat yourself to a night out and walk away with some added knowledge and confidence about pairing wine & food.
Class Description:
Join us for an explosion of flavors and textures as we explore the wonderful world of wine & food pairing. Treat your palate to a night of "wow's" and "ah-ha's" as we grasp food and wine pairing principles and bring them to life! You'll understand why certain wines just "click" with certain foods and why a big California Chardonnay pairs better with steak than a light Pinot Noir (even though it's red). Leave feeling confident in selecting wine to pair at your next dinner party or with your next meal in a restaurant. Recipes for dishes served provided. Cost per person: $50
Sample of menu to be served and paired with over 8 wines:
Blueberry honey crostini
Baja shrimp with cilantro & lime with succotash sweet corn salad
Tomato, mozzarella & basil brushetta with balsamic
Jamaican jerk turkey burger balls with papaya mango BBQ sauce
Curried chicken quesadilla
Rosemary thyme foccacia with roasted garlic hummus & garden herb dipping oil
Grilled peaches
