The playground committee is offering a Big Cash Raffle with its drawing held during the Wizards game. Raffle prizes include a Grand prize of $1500 in cash, a second prize of $1000 cash, and a third prize of $500 cash. Raffle tickets are on sale everywhere Wizards' admission tickets are sold. ($20 each, $50 for three).
The Miller School Playground Committee was formed to develop and implement a new playground to replace the existing structure on the grounds of the Miller Elementary School. It is a collaboration which engages the school community and provides access to all children. The committee, chaired by Donald Gray, is comprised of members of the Miller School administration, teaching staff, Elementary PTSA, high school students, extended day staff, and parents and is part of an established 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
