Medfield's starting pitcher, Vinnie Palumbo, pitched six and a third solid innings striking out eight, walking two and surrendering four hits. He kept Holliston's offense at bay holding onto a 1-0 lead through five innings and a 3-0 lead through six.
Chris Warren (4 hits, 2 runs, 1SB, and an RBI) and Phil DeSeignora (2 hits, 1 run, 1 SB, and an RBI) led Medfield's 10-hit attack. Medfield (3-0 TVL) opened up the game scoring eight runs in the top of the seventh. Holliston's lone run came in the bottom of the 7th.
Grant Davis (above) pitched six effective innings for Holliston (3 runs, 6 strikeouts, 0 walks, 6 hits). Cato LaCroix led Holliston (1-2 TVL) with two hits and a stolen base. Matt Cabral, Connor Capobianco and Jake Frechette had a hit a piece collecting Holliston's other hits.
