Holliston Youth Baseball Golf TournamentWith the 2010 Holliston Youth Baseball/Softball Association (HYBSA) season in full swing, HYBSA is pleased to announce that their annual Diamond Cup Golf Tournament Fundraiser will be held Friday, June 11th at Pinecrest Golf Club in Holliston, MA.
Adding an exciting and potentially lucrative twist for participants, this year will feature a $10,000 Hole-in-One Challenge prize being sponsored by Fitts Insurance of Framingham MA at the 18th Hole. No small purse … especially in the current economy. A dinner and raffle/auction event featuring exciting donations from local businesses, The Boston Red Sox, The Patriots and Boston College will also be included.
To help make this event a success again this year, foursomes of players are being sought for the Noon shotgun start with registration beginning at 11am. For details on signing up please visit www.HYBSA.net or contact David McNeil at davidjmcneil@yahoo.com.
HYBSA also continues to solicit sponsorships and donations from local businesses for hole sponsorships as well as donations of gift certificates/cards, products, tickets or sports items/collectibles for raffle baskets and auction items. HYBSA is already pleased to recognize the following businesses for their event support so far: Fiske’s General Store; Elegant Nails; Ameriprise Financials; 3 Restaurant; Andy's Shoe Stores; Coffee Haven; Law Office of Joseph P. Marsden Jr.; DYR Home Renovation; Fletcher, Tilton & Whipple; Grace Bike Shop; Robbins Beef; Maureen Whiting Area Manager/Independent Consultant Arbonne International; Holliston Youth Basketball; Holliston Youth Soccer and others. To become a sponsor for this event please contact Jennifer McNeil at jmcneilcomms@yahoo.com.
“This is the primary fundraiser for HYBSA and is critical to the community and our kids (ages 6-15) in maintaining a top-notch youth baseball and softball organization here in town,” said David McNeil, 2010 HYBSA Golf Tournament Chairman. “All proceeds from this great event will go directly towards the many expenses that keep our boys and girls “swinging for the fences” like the upkeep of team equipment and fields, and the creation of uniforms.”
